What’s the dress code?
Semi-formal. Think cocktail attire with a relaxed touch. Dresses, jumpsuits, and suits are all welcome. Jackets encouraged, but ties are optional. Layers encouraged due to night temperatures. Since parts of the day will take place on grass, we recommend block heels, flats, or stylish sandals to keep things comfortable (and avoid sinking!).
Will transportation be provided?
A shuttle service will be running all day and will remain on-site throughout the event, providing transportation for guests staying at the Holiday Inn Express and Three Chimneys Inn in Durham. Guests are welcome to come and go as they please, with service continuing through the end of the after-party. Parking is available at the venue for up to 70 cars, so feel free to make your own travel arrangements if you prefer. Please note that we have not reserved a hotel room block, so we recommend booking your accommodations in advance.
Will there be an after-party?
Yes! Join us at the Inn (on-site at the venue) for the after-party!
Where are you registered?
We’re registered with Zola and are still curating our list. You’ll be able to view everything by clicking the button below once it is complete. Feel free to check back closer to the big day!
Can I bring my kids?
Due to venue limitations, we are only able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitations. If your child’s name is not included, we kindly ask that you make other arrangements for the evening. Thank you for your understanding!
Where is the venue and when should I arrive?
The venue is the Thompson Inn & Cyderhouse, located at 90 Bennett Rd, Durham, NH 03824. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM, so we kindly ask that you arrive by 4:00 PM to ensure you're seated and settled before the event starts.
When is the RSVP deadline?
Our RSVP deadline will be listed on your formal invitation sent closer to the event date.
What if I miss the RSVP deadline?
Guests who have not RSVP’d by the deadline will be considered as unable to attend since we need to share final guest count with our venue.
What if I can’t attend?
If you can’t attend, we’ll miss you! Please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Due to venue capacity limits, we will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If your invitation includes a guest, their name or “+1” will appear on your invitation or RSVP.
Will you send out invitations?
Yes, we’ll be sending out formal invitations closer to the event, so stay tuned!

Our venue is about 25 minutes from downtown Portsmouth and very close to the neighboring Newmarket area, both of which offer additional hotel and accommodation options. Parking is available at the venue for up to 70 cars.
